Chris Dyar

President

Chris brings extensive leadership and engineering experience to his role as President of Craftwork Controls. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Engineering and an MBA from Georgia State University, he has spent his career guiding technical teams, managing engineering operations, and driving continuous improvement across the industrial automation sector. As a Six Sigma Black Belt, Chris applies a disciplined, process‑focused approach to quality and operational excellence.

 

His blend of strategic vision, hands‑on technical understanding, and commitment to customer partnership shapes the culture of Craftwork Controls.

Chris Spivey

Vice President

With over 15 years of industrial control panel shop experience, Chris brings deep technical expertise and a steady, solutions‑driven approach to his role as Vice President at Craftwork Controls. A graduate of Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, along with an E.E.T. from Southern Polytechnic, he built a strong academic foundation that complements his hands‑on understanding of electrical and automation systems.

 

His background spans every stage of panel production—from design and layout to wiring, testing, and quality assurance—giving him a practical, end‑to‑end perspective on what it takes to deliver reliable, high‑quality panels on schedule. In his current role, Chris supports project execution and customer relationships, helping ensure the team maintains the craftsmanship, clarity, and responsiveness that define Craftwork Controls.

Philip Burke

Director of Operations

With over 10 years of experience in the panel shop industry, Philip brings a strong blend of technical skill and practical field expertise to his role as Director of Operations at Craftwork Controls. A graduate of Athens Technical College, he built his foundation in electrical systems early, complementing his many years of electrical work, system integration, and conveyor installation.

His background spans both hands‑on technical work and project management, giving him a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver reliable, well‑built control panels. Philip continues to work closely with customers, ensuring their requirements are understood, communicated, and executed with the craftsmanship and responsiveness they expect from our team.
